David Thorne, Chief Executive Officer
David Thorne is Gemserv's Chief Executive and Chairman of Red Island Consulting, Gemserv's information security practice. He has over 22
years experience in the utility and environmental sectors starting his career at the water and electricity regulators before joining a FTSE30
energy company where he held senior regulatory and risk management positions. David joined Gemserv in 2008 and was appointed CEO in 2010.
Ken McRae, Chief Operating Officer
Ken McRae is an Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer for Gemserv. He brings a wide range of industry knowledge gained over 20 years of experience in dealing with Government departments and industry regulators.
Ken is responsible for managing the delivery of Gemserv's contracts within the Energy, Water and Environmental sectors including consultancy, governance and assurance services, as well as Gemserv’s client relationships in these sectors. Prior to working at Gemserv, Ken spent over 10 years with TXU Energy in a variety of operational and management roles within the supply business.
Jagjit Dosanjh-Elton, Chief Financial Officer
Jagjit Dosanjh-Elton joined Gemserv in 2007. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) and Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). Jagjit has over 12 years of experience in finance gained from working in several industries including retail, publishing, financial services and consultancy.
During this time Jagjit has also worked on several strategic programmes which includes acquisition deals, global restructuring and system implementation projects.
Mandeep Thandi, Interim Head of Corporate Services
Mandeep Thandi is Gemserv’s Interim Head of Corporate Services in the absence of Jagjit Dosanjh-Elton who is on maternity leave. A Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD), Mandeep has extensive experience across a broad range of HR disciplines, including HR strategy and policy development, employment law, employee relations, resourcing and reward management. Mandeep joined Gemserv in 2008.
Alex Goody, Director of Business Development
Alex Goody joined Gemserv in May 2012 as Director of Business Development. Alex commenced his career at the energy company, Amerada Hess. In the last eight years Alex has worked for the insurance group, Domestic & General, in various senior and international
management roles. Most recently returning from Australia as Sales Director where he set up a Melbourne based business for the group.
Mark Thomas, Managing Director of Red Island
Mark Thomas joined as Head of Red Island Consulting in March of this year and brings over 25 years experience in the IT industry to Red Island with the past 12 years being focused solely around information security.
At Chameleon Security, Mark was the Managing Director, he built the business up to be seen as a trusted advisor to some of the largest companies across the UK and Europe. He is looking to use his skills and experiences to build upon the successes achieved in Red Island to date.
