On the 28th March 2013, Energy UK launched “Compare My Energy” a website that allows consumers to find out how energy efficient their homes are, and find out how they compare to other people within their local area.

Gemserv will run the new Green Deal oversight body and will be responsible for the registration of assessors, installers and providers and monitoring compliance with the Code of Practice under the Government’s flagship energy efficiency programme.
Alex Goody appointed as Director of Business Development

Alex Goody recently joined Gemserv as Director of Business Development. Alex commenced his career at the energy company, Amerada Hess and in the last eight years Alex has worked for the insurance group, Domestic & General, in various senior and international management roles. He is looking to utilise these skills and experiences to build upon the Gemserv successes to date.

Mark Thomas appointed as Head of Red Island Consulting

Mark Thomas recently joined as Head of Red Island Consulting bringing over 25 years experience in the IT industry with the past 12 years being focused solely around information security. Mark joined from Chameleon Security where as Managing Director he built the business up to be seen as a trusted
advisor to some of the largest companies across the UK and Europe; and is looking to use these skills and experiences to build upon the successes achieved in Red Island to date.
RPI - X Factor 2012 opens for entries

Gemserv is looking for the best musical talent to enter RPI - X Factor 2012, an annual charity battle of the bands competition. Shortlisted bands will perform in front of an audience of over 350 people at top London venue, Cargo. The overall winner on the night will walk away with the opportunity to propel their musical career to new heights, by creating a professional single with a free day at a recording studio.
