“Dynamic, Informative, Interesting”. That’s how Energy Intern, Hannah Schmidt, describes working at Gemserv.
We all know that searching for a new job can sometimes be a long stressful process, however luckily for Hannah it wasn’t! Her first job interview landed her with a job that matched her passion for climate change and sustainability. The opportunity to learn new skills in working on a variety of different projects was what attracted her to the role. “Working on new projects within renewables including the Biomass Suppliers List and Green Deal has been really exciting.”

So far, Hannah has enjoyed the diverse nature her internship role has offered. “I like managing multiple tasks, utilising my skillset across contracts and assisting on projects across different Gemserv teams. I’ve been working on the Key Accounts helpdesk, answering calls and emails from customers. I have also worked on PRACE Projects – marketing articles about different topics across the business”
