In February the Government announced that it is bringing forward the ban on petrol, diesel and hybrid cars from 2040 to 2035.
This has sharpened the focus on how the UK is going to have the necessary EV infrastructure in place, in time to meet this challenging timetable.
This October City & Financial Global will be hosting the second edition of the EV Infrastructure Summit which will have a focus on the opportunities and challenges involved in establishing a UK-wide charging infrastructure. This year it is being held virtually.
Gemserv are one of the sponsors of this virtual event and will be participating on day 1 as part of a Panel IV discussing:
“Delivering the UK’s long-term infrastructure planning and the appropriate regime.
Investing in EV Charging infrastructure, both grid and charging – what needs to be done to make this happen and to scale?“
Our Head of Electric and Autonomous Vehicles, Joachim Brandt will be the moderator for this session.
