Gemserv are pleased to have been selected by Xoserve as part of a recent procurement exercise (conducted under EU Regulations) to appoint a “Performance Assurance Framework Administrator” (PAFA). Gemserv’s assignment team has begun a three-month mobilisation phase, and is now attending the monthly Performance Assurance Committee meetings.
Sandra Simpson, Xoserve Operations Director: said “We look forward to working with Gemserv and to helping them to add value to the gas industry in this exciting new role. We would also like to thank the two members of the Performance Assurance Committee who supported Xoserve’s procurement exercise as Stakeholder representatives for their time and expert input.”
Jonathan Harley, Director of Client Delivery at Gemserv: “Gemserv is delighted to be appointed as the first Performance Assurance Framework Administrator for the gas industry. Accurate settlement is a key requirement for an effective and reliable energy market, one that can be trusted by participants, regulators and consumers alike. Gemserv understands the need for a scheme that will work for the unique conditions of gas transportation and shipping. While drawing on our extensive experiences of other utilities, we have developed an assurance model that has been tailored for the specific demands of the gas sector. We look forward to working with colleagues in Xoserve, the members of the Performance Assurance Committee (PAC) and others in the wider gas industry towards a demonstrably effective settlement regime”.
