Life

at Gemserv

Our staff are involved with some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the rapidly evolving energy and data sectors. Attracting, retaining and investing in the development of our people has helped us grow the business significantly in recent years and we have big ambitions for further growth.

To achieve our goals we believe in giving our people responsibility and accountability as well as supporting them to develop their potential as individuals. By investing in your learning and development you will be able to develop skills and gain experience which will enhance your career prospects for life. Everyone also has access to career planning to help achieve personal and professional aspirations and many of our senior managerial staff have worked their way up through the organisation.

At Gemserv no two days are the same – and it’s certainly not always 9-5 – but we firmly believe in a flexible approach to working which we know our employees value. That focus on encouraging a positive work/life balance extends to the many regular social events where employees get the opportunity to meet people from across the business and outside in a more informal environment.

Our People

We celebrate individuals at Gemserv and the contribution every member of our team makes to our diverse range of experience, skills and personalities.

Our accreditation to the Investors in People (IIP) Gold standard underlines our commitment to cultivating talent and to providing equal opportunities. The internationally recognised accreditation is the mark of high performance in business and people management.

The assessment highlighted how people at Gemserv take pride in what they do and how they do it and also the many examples of ‘home grown’ talent having progressed from entry level roles to senior management.

What we

Offer You

A job should always offer you more then just financial rewards and whilst we are competitive within our industry we look to go above and beyond for our people. At Gemserv we offer a number of opportunities for staff whether it be benefits such as childcare vouchers or flexible hours to numerous development opportunities inside and outside of work. We are committed to retaining our staff and attracting talent from all walks of life.

We are in unprecedented times and businesses are needing to adapt faster than ever to an ever changing situation. But what does that mean in practice and what does that mean for employees?

We are launching a series of live podcasts with some of our team whose backgrounds are in IT, Security, Business Resilience and Digital Transformation. They will discuss advice and guidance for companies in the process of adapting to unprecedented changes in the way we work and live.
