A Certified Information Security Officer and experienced Information System Auditor, Chirag joined Gemserv with over 15 year’s professional experience, starting off as a Personal Banking officer with Barclays Bank where he gained rich experience in Financial and banking industry codes and regulations.
Later on, he moved to BT Retail and worked with them for 6 years and left as Team Manager, it was during his tenure with BT Retail he excelled in customer service skills, managing the KPI’s and deliverables required for telecom industry. From there he moved to BT Global Services where alongside managing the Network Operations Centre for some prestigious clients for BT, he was the central point for leading and managing BT Global Services APAC security and certifications team. For the last five years he is working in different markets of Information Security, Quality management, Data Protection and Risk Management.
As a Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager for Gemserv he continues to use and excel the bedrock of our accredited standards (ISO 9001, 27001, 14001 and Cyber Essentials Plus), to underpin compliance by adhering to good practices. His team has grown seamless synergies in facilitating consistent application to: – efficient processes, apply direction, guidance and governance in several areas, namely, Quality (Customer Experience), Audit & Risk, Health & Safety, Information Security, Environmental Management and Cyber Security. He has been instrumental in designing the risk management framework for Gemserv and Customer Service Strategy and is the main driving force in achieving a truly “Security First” business whilst protecting our Brand and Reputation.
